Mladin Stays Put...For Now Mat Mladin Suzuki 560x373

In 140 characters or less, Mat Mladin has signaled that he won’t be jumping to WSBK anytime soon. Linked to Reitwagen’s satellite BMW racing effort, Mladin’s doable centre on the aggroup went to saint Pitt meet last week. Mladin created whatever sound with his tweet two weeks ago, which hinted that the ex-AMA auto was considering making the transition to World Superbike racing.

In a newborn tweet, Mladin said, “No return for MM to racing in World SBK. Please take me backwards DMG (obi wan), you are my exclusive wish ;-)” Despite this message, the rumors preserve that the inhabitant could make at small a some appearances in the WSBK program as a Yoshimura Suzuki wildcard. Given Mladin’s cutting comments about Suzuki in his twirp feed, we’re not trusty what the chances of that gossip reaching genuine are.

For today the AMA Champion seems noesis to live his individualized life, and fire a pair missiles crossways the bow of the AMA/DMG every-other hebdomad or so; Mladin has even floated the intent (tongue squarely in cheek) of a three-race program that would allow the venues left-off of the AMA’s provisional calendar.
